Grown in Hanford in California’s San Joaquin Valley on approximately 450 producing acres, this summer fruit is close to picking with harvest beginning in late June and ending in the middle of August. “We expect to see the same mouth-watering sweetness and crunch in our Verry Cherry Plums with an increase in volume of 20 percent at approximately 500,000 boxes available,” Alyssa continued. “They are sold in 1.5- to 2-pound, high-graphic pouch bags and 1-pound clamshells. They are also available for export.”
The Flavor Tree Fruit Company maintains 122 acres of the first-ever Organic Verry Cherry Plums crops. This offering will be available the whole month of July in volumes great enough to support large programs.
“Consumers love this flavorful bite-sized fruit. Its small size makes it perfect for snacking and easy for kids to hold.
