KINGSVILLE, ON - Organic produce will take center stage in Monterey, California, come July 14–16. There, fresh produce operators will gather for the 2026 Organic Produce Summit (OPS) to highlight the best of what the industry has to offer. Harold Paivarinta, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Red Sun Farms™, shared some insights ahead of the show.
“Red Sun Farms will be showcasing our portfolio of organic greenhouse-grown tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers at booth #512 during this year's Organic Produce Summit. As a year-round grower and supplier of premium greenhouse vegetables, we're excited to share our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable production with attendees,” Harold began telling me.
He pointed out that the Organic Produce Summit provides a valuable opportunity to connect with retail partners, industry peers, and prospective customers.
“We always look forward to meaningful conversations that help us better understand evolving consumer trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth within the organic produce category,” Harold explained. “We hope visitors leave our booth with a deeper understanding of Red Sun Farms' commitment to partnership, reliability, and continuous improvement. Our team is eager to engage in conversations about how we can better support our customers, share insights on industry trends, and discuss our plans for the future. We also want attendees to recognize our ability to deliver consistent quality, adaptability, and year-round supply across our organic greenhouse vegetable portfolio.”
As we closed our conversation and looked toward next month’s event, Harold shared insights into Red Sun’s continued strategy to deliver a premium product.
“At Red Sun Farms, innovation remains a key focus as we continue investing in technologies and partnerships that enhance the quality, flavor, and texture of our products,” he said. “Working closely with leading seed and breeding partners, our team is evaluating and developing new varieties that will help shape the future of our portfolio. These advancements are designed to elevate the consumer eating experience, drive category growth, and deliver greater value to our retail partners.”
That is a value proposition that will carry the organic industry forward long into the future. As the event approaches, keep checking back for updates from ANUK.
