SALINAS, CA - Recently, Church Brothers Farms announced an expansion to its sales team. The grower has appointed produce veteran Jason Grolnick as its newest Retail Account Manager. In tandem, the company has also named Lisa Dennis as Director of Sales Operations.
Grolnick brings to his new role over 25 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has spent time with companies such as Markon Cooperative, Newstar Fresh Foods, Tanimura & Antle, and Ippolito International. His specific role at Church Brothers Farms will be to support current retail customers and continue the expansion of the company’s retail program.
In this role, Grolnick will join Kate Dutra and will report to Alex McCloskey, Vice President of Retail Business Development
According to the release, Church Brothers Farms has further boosted its sales team with the appointment of Lisa Dennis. Dennis will now be the company’s Director of Sales Operations, and she will help support the grower’s retail program in this capacity.
Church Brother Farms’ Rick Russo provided a comment on this move.
“Lisa’s role will be to coordinate between our production and shipping departments to overcome any logistical obstacles that may impede the stellar customer service Church Brothers is known for,” stated Russo, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Tom Bramers will continue as Director of Sales with an increased focus on supply and demand market dynamics, revenue management, and day-to-day sales activities. To this end, Bramers and Dennis will share management responsibilities for the internal sales staff.
While the grower continues to focus on providing solutions, Church Brothers Farms also revealed it has invested in data-driven projects that will assist in short-and long-term crop forecasting, provide real-time internal supply chain visibility, and help balance daily market demands with current production systems.
“As we continue to expand our retail business, it’s important to add support in all areas of our business—across retail and foodservice with our full line of value-added and commodity products,” Russo said.
Congratulations all around as Jason Grolnick and Lisa Dennis continue their journey in the world of fresh produce.
