Keystone Fruit Marketing's Michael Blume Talks Merger With Progressive Produce And Beyond

ORLANDO, FL – In an industry as dynamic and fast-moving as fresh produce, relationships are key, and finding felicitous partnerships is key to success. With that in mind, I spoke with Michael Blume, Sales, of Keystone Fruit Marketing about the company’s new parent, their recent merger, and the beneficial nature of the two companies’ new partnership.
“Keystone Fruit Marketing merged with Progressive Produce,” Michael opens, explaining: “We’re very similar companies—very family-oriented—providing wholesalers, retailers, and foodservice companies with a lot of different produce items.”
With offices in Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, and now California, where Progressive Produce is headquartered, Keystone’s national scope and wide assortment of offerings make them an attractive option for buy-siders looking for fresh produce.
“We’ve got commodities to offer, including sweet onions, potatoes, asparagus, peaches, apples—whatever the consumer needs,” Michael tells me, encouraging customers in retail, wholesale, and foodservice to call for their needs however diverse.
