Lauren Del Rosario of Gourmet Trading Joins 1st FPFC Apprentice Program

<p>Gourmet Trading Company, distributor of fresh asparagus and blueberries, is announcing Lauren Del Rosario as a member of the first Fresh Produce and Floral Council (FPFC) Apprentice Program, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In an effort to help prepare the <b>industry leaders of tomorrow</b>, the Fresh Produce &amp; Flroal Council has established the <b>FPFC Apprentice Program</b>, which is a <b>free benefit for FPFF member companies</b>. This program is designed to provide real-world information and activities to people with <b>fewer than seven years of industry experience</b>. The FPFC Apprentice Program provides <b>networking opportunities</b>, facilitates educational discussions, exposes participants to various elements of the supply chain, and introduces them to the service network within the fresh produce and floral industry. Participants are assigned an <b>industry mentor</b> to make introductions at networking events and will participate in work groups with other program apprentices.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"Since joining Gourmet Trading Company a little over a year ago Lauren has proved to be a hard working asset to our team. She became interested in produce through her experience as a professional chef.
