IMMOKALEE, FL - The day has officially arrived for the opening of the Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Innovations show in Charlotte, North Carolina. Among the exhibitors is Lipman Family Farms, which wants to inspire attendees with the introduction of two new products while spotlighting its dedication to innovation and technology.
“I’m committed to tapping into the potential of the people of Lipman and fostering an environment for innovation and growth in order to meet the future needs of the produce supply chain,” said Elyse Lipman, Chief Executive Officer of Lipman Family Farms. “My role is to create runways for our best-in-class team of operators and problem-solvers to thrive.”
Lipman has continued to foster innovation throughout its 75-year history, dedicating resources to talent and new technologies. According to a release, this focus on development, especially in its partnerships and R&D, has led the supplier to introduce two exciting, flavor-centric tomato varieties.
On the show floor, attendees will get a chance to see the grower’s award-winning Monet Red™ variety, which earned the 2023 Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute. It will also be featured in the innovation showcase. Visitors to Lipman’s booth will also have the opportunity to taste Bellavina® tomatoes, a 2023 Superior Taste Awards winner as well.
