CAPISTRANO BEACH, CA - As a major event sponsor at the 2026 Organic Produce Summit (OPS), LIV Produce shared that this year’s event is especially impactful. From sweet potato expansions to local programs, OPS attendees will gain a closer look at how the supplier sets itself apart from other operators.
“This show is very purposeful because it's not so large that everyone gets lost in the weeds. You can conquer a lot in the amount of time we have for the show. Plus, there's always a really strong presence of retailers. In speaking with them, we always feel really accomplished by the end of the summit,” Anthony Innocenti, Managing Partner, began telling me.
Year over year, LIV Produce has been expanding its acreage on sweet potatoes, both conventional and organic. This year, Anthony shared that the supplier is poised for its best year ever.
“Sweet potatoes are a hot topic right now,” Anthony pointed out. “One of the biggest focuses for us is our strength in varietals, which are gaining momentum. Purple sweet potatoes, Japanese Murasakis, as well as red and orange varieties, help us to provide a complete program to buyers.”
Anthony also teased that there will be some new value-added SKUs on display at OPS.
“We have developed new four-count trays of sweet potatoes in both conventional and organic. For our 3 lb offerings, we're doing both a conventional and an organic Murasaki SKU that are also new,” he said. “Additional value-added SKUs are going to be launched in the fall as well.”
Aside from sweet potatoes, LIV is just kicking off its season on local hard squash—including pie pumpkins—and Heirloom tomatoes, which will be some other major focuses for the supplier at OPS.
If you will be attending OPS next week, you can find LIV Produce at booth #605. For more show coverage, keep coming back to ANUK.
