SALINAS, CA - Fresh produce is one of the key pillars of success in the foodservice sector. As we here at ANUK continue the countdown to the long-anticipated PMA Foodservice Conference and Expo, I got in touch with Kim Fellom, Marketing Manager for Pacific International Marketing, to find out what to expect from the grower at this exciting event.
“This event is important to us because it’s our first in-person show since last March. We are looking forward to spending time with those we’ve built relationships with through the years, as well as building new ones,” Kim tells me. “We encourage attendees to stop by our booth, #420, to learn about our latest offerings, share their needs, and see how we can structure our foodservice program for current and future customers.”
Pacific will be showcasing its Petite Romaine, Brussels sprouts, and celery sticks at the expo, and its entire foodservice line will be available for review, in addition to three new inspiring Petite Romaine recipes.
“Growing our foodservice program has been one of our goals, and we are looking forward to seeing what Pacific can offer and the needs we can meet in the sector,” Kim adds.
In addition to showcasing its popular foodservice offerings, Pacific will also be exemplifying its commitment to sustainability during the event.
“This will be our first show with a sustainable booth, where we will be providing QR codes for pertinent information instead of handouts,” explains Kim. “We have been prioritizing sustainability as a whole through the pandemic and are excited to have it enter our booth at PMA Foodservice.”
