Welcome to Shop Talk! Martin Mazzanti, Chairman, The Produce Exchange, joins AndNowUKnow to discuss the Tesoro Tomatoes. When the company tasted them in Spain in 2006 they were pleasantly surprised and so brought 600 seeds back with them for a tomato trial that kicked off in 2007 in Baja, California. The Produce Exchange made sauce, Pico de Gallo, grilled them and were amazed by how delicious they were and how wonderful they were to work with.
