SELAH, WA - Rainier Fruit Company is abuzz with ideas about how to support its retail partners and give back this season.

I recently interviewed Andy Tudor, Vice President of Business Development, to learn more about the company’s new retail support and renewed focus on giving back through its Pears for Pairs program.

Andy Tudor, Vice President of Business Development, Rainier Fruit Company“We’ve…totally redesigned our merchandising bins, and the neat thing about these new bins is we can digitally print nearly anything on the header and then on the bin itself,” Andy tells me. “The bins are reusable; we can print a new header if they want to swap out from our Lady Alice program to organic to Pears for Pairs. They can just slide the new digital header over the existing bin.”

Andy tells me that the company’s newly launched Pears for Pairs program is a point of pride for Rainier Fruit as well.

“Pears for Pairs is a new program that we just launched, and it runs through the end of the year,” Andy notes. “And we’ve teamed up with Hanes to donate socks to homeless shelters.”
