Welcome to today's episode of Shop Talk! We are joined by Dain Craver, an apple grower from Washington State. Mr. Craver brought his new variety of apples to the PMA Fresh Summit Floor with Sage Fruit Company this past October. The variety is a chance seedling that he found in his orchard. He named it the RosaLynn. The name came from the combination of two beauties, Gary Lynn Craver, Dain Craver's wife and his manager's wife whose name is Rosa. Sage has been helping market this fruit for the last three or four years. The RosaLynn is organically grown but marketed conventionally. The late keeping apple, stays crisp and doesn't turn brown immediately after cutting, bringing a delicious and crisp addition to Sage Fruit Company.

www.sagefruit.com
