VALENCIA, CA - With over 1,000 members in its cooperative, Sunkist Growers is a force to be reckoned with. Even more so now that it is employing a new initiative and bringing back a long-term partner. To learn more, I spoke with Cassie Howard, Senior Director of Category Management and Marketing.
"We're launching our new Sunkist® IQ initiative, which is all about investing, innovating, and implementing," she explained. "Investing in our supply chain process and really improving all the way from grove to the consumer shelf."
She also emphasized Sunkist's Cara Cara program and the advantages that Sunkist Growers brings to its partners.
Additionally, Cassie discussed the importance of the company's partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation.
"All of our packaging, all of [our] POS [point-of-sale] material will have information about National Breast Cancer Foundation on it. And this is a really special cause for us at our organization. It's something we're expanding into all of our employees as well," she noted.
