KINGSVILLE, ON- SUNSET® has done it again. For those of you attending the United Fresh trade show this week, stop by the SUNSET® booth to congratulate the team of flavor innovator’s on their latest greenhouse awards and nods, having taken home the most titles from the 2016 Hottest Greenhouse Competition.
Leading the awards this year was SUNSET’s Flavor Bombs™, which were named best overall tomato and best bite-size tomato, according to a press release. This is the latest in accolades for the unique Flavor Bombs™ tomato variety, which was recently honored with a Superior Taste award from the prestigious International Taste and Quality Institution in Belgium.
“Flavor Bombs™ are the sweetest tomato out there,” CEO Paul Mastronardi, shared. Taking the Midwest by storm, these treats are becoming a household staple for foodies, families, and culinary masters across the board.
“We’ve received such an overwhelming response from consumers who can’t get enough Flavor Bombs™,” Daniela Ferro, Communications Coordinator, added. “People are constantly emailing and calling just to share how much they love them.”
To round out the awards was another SUNSET top-runner- the company’s organic English cucumber, which took home the People’s Choice Award for Best Cucumber.
