SALINAS, CA - Kiddos are already back in the classroom across the United States, which means busy schedules. For parents and schools, it also means the search is on for nutritious, convenient options that can make back to school a breeze. Enter Taylor Farms, which will be showing off its newly launched snack packs as well as its popular mini chopped salads and Chopped kits at the Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Innovations event.
“The Taylor Farms Tennessee team is excited to show our new mini fruit trays, perfect for Back to School!” says Kent Ford, Vice President of Business Development, Taylor Farms Tennessee/Taylor Farms Tennessee North.
Mini Trays come in 50-unit boxes of half-cup portioned fruit. Taylor Farms currently offers four different varieties of fruit to pick from, including blueberry, diced watermelon, blueberry and strawberry halves, and strawberry halves.
The company’s snack trays for retail are packed 6 to a case, and its mini chopped kits are packed 8 to a case. At the show, the supplier will have its Dill Pickle Chop Salad, Steakhouse Wedge Chop Salad, Maple Bourbon Bacon Chop Salad, and more from its Chopped kit lineup. These are perfect for consumers looking for a convenient meal option—especially busy families on the go.
“Taylor Farms takes pride in our partnerships with the school districts we work with, and we are always looking for new creative items and pack sizes to fit the portion and nutritional requirements,” adds Kent. “We are excited to show the kids something new and bring healthy snacking to the forefront while making convenience options healthier!”
