SALINAS, CA - Four fresh and flavorful new salad kits are coming to market this spring and summer—courtesy of Taylor Farms. The fan-favorite ready-to-eat healthy fresh food brand’s latest line additions will bring its chopped salad kit portfolio up to 18 offerings—with new Tangerine Crunch, Salsa Ranch, Steakhouse Wedge, and Roasted Garlic Chopped Kits suitable for most any occasion.

Taylor Farms noted that, according to Nielsen, salad kits represent as much as 20 percent of the value-added salad category and have experienced double-digit growth year-over-year—growing 17 percent in the past 52 weeks. And, the company notes, Taylor Farms’ new recipe creations are a result of direct consumer demand for fresh, and flavorful options.
New offerings include:
- Roasted Garlic Chopped Kit - Freshly chopped romaine, red cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, celery, parsley, smoked white cheddar cheese, and an herb crouton crumble with creamy garlic dressing
- Tangerine Crunch Chopped Kit - Freshly chopped romaine, savoy cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, celery, parsley, toasted quinoa, dried cranberries, and sliced almonds paired with a simple sweet and tart tangerine vinaigrette
- Steakhouse Wedge Chopped Kit - Freshly chopped savoy cabbage, romaine, carrots, red cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, uncured bacon, crispy onions, and steakhouse seasoning with creamy blue cheese dressing
- Salsa Ranch Chopped Kit - Freshly chopped red and green cabbage, romaine, kale, carrots, green onion, blue and gold tortilla chips, and 4-cheese Mexican blend with creamy salsa ranch dressing
