Vision Produce Expands Senior Management Team

Vision Produce has made a number of new appointments to its senior management team. Nancy Betancourt has been promoted to Vice President, and Donald Souther has been newly appointed as Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development, according to a press release.

Dan Lawton has been appointed as the Vice President of Sales to oversee the inside sales management. Bart Sgambati, the CFO, is in charge of all administration, operational aspects, and banking. Souther will be responsible for supervising all marketing and customer development for both Vision Produce and Vision Import Group. Lawton, Betancourt, and Robert Stauffer in Los Angeles, and John Caldwell in Phoenix, will manage the company’s product categories.



Allan Acosta, who recently joined the team in Phoenix as Vice President of Operations, will partner with Caldwell in management of both produce and trucking operations. Allan’s procurement experience will also serve to help Vision Produce in both Los Angeles and Phoenix, as well as Vision Import Group in New Jersey to access additional grower programs south of the Border. This includes the company La Vision Honey Dew program out of Caborca, Mexico which is starting its second season of production approximately May 20th, according to a press release.
