The company has introduced its new 2013 Peterbilt West Pak Boom Truck # 30. The 500 horsepower, 13 speed, clean air truck, will help the company haul fruit from the field to the packing house. West Pak now has a fleet of seven trucks; five are boom trucks for hauling fruit, and two are tractor trailers which are most frequently responsible for deliveries. The company has two CLEAN AIR Volvo tractors and two Great Dane trailers. These trailers have Thermo King SB210+ refrigeration units.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/westpak-truck-fleet.jpg" alt="West Pak Avocado Expands Its Trucking Fleet" /></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The new West Pak boom truck is more fuel efficient by 12% over the old trucks and meets all new clean air /carbon emission rules for the State of California (CLEAN AIR TRUCK). In terms of capacity, the new boom truck has the ability to haul 40-44% more fruit than the truck that it is replacing. West Pak's boom trucks are used to go out in the fields and avocado groves to retrieve the bins of avocados. Each bin weighs about 900 lbs when full. This truck will carry about 22k lbs. of avocados to the packing house.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/photo.JPG (2).JPG" alt="West Pak Avocado Expands Its Trucking Fleet" /></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Robert G. The wrap on the tractor trailer is a new design for West Pak. Each wrapped truck to follow will present a different theme.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.westpakavocado.com/2007/avocados/justripe.cfm" target="_new"> West Pak </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
