Wish Farms is now offering a year-round supply of conventional and organic strawberries and blueberries out of California and Florida, respectively. This will be the first year the company is growing organic strawberries out of California in its Salinas and Santa Maria farms, according to a press release.

“In addition to the expansion of our California strawberry program, our Florida blueberry volume is really starting to pick up,” said Gary Wishnatzki, President. “We’ve also put resources into increasing our packing capabilities this year.”

Wish Farms is also planning to launch a series of recipe videos on its YouTube channel to further reach out to consumers. Check out this sample video below!

Wish Farms is also supporting its year round berry program with its “How’s My Picking?™” consumer promotion and traceability system. Consumers are asked to visit www.howsmypicking.com to complete a short survey using a 16-digit number on their package of Wish Farms berries. In return, they receive a Wish Farms reusable shopping tote in the mail and are entered to win a $100 gift card to the grocery retailer of their choice, according to a press release. Chances of winning increase with each survey completed.

“This is the first time we’ve offered feedback incentives,” said Amber Kosinsky, Director of Marketing. “Since the program launch we’ve seen a significant increase in surveys; providing valuable consumer data which we will use to make educated growing and marketing decisions moving forward.”

Looks like it’ll be an eventful season for Wish Farms!
