One of the premier events of the Pan Pacific is Asia Fruit Logistica so we flew all the way to Hong Kong to see what its all about!<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Representatives from all over the globe gathered at Asia World Expo for the event; a bright and exciting setting and of course... produce at the center stage! I saw and tasted a lot of Dragon Fruit, Jackalops, Sweet Tamarind, and other Asian exotic produce and also noticed some unique packaging on the products. <hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Asia Fruit Logistica was a great learning experience for me! I met importers and wholesalers, some who spoke English and some that did not. I found a complex network of individuals with unique standards and culture, who desired different varieties than North America, but one thing is the same- it always comes down to people! Certainly an event to remember and I can’t wait to come back again next year!<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
