Stop & Shop Set to Expand Its Footprint on Staten Island

<p><strong>FAIRFIELD, CT</strong> - The Stop &amp; Shop Supermarket Company LLC is set to acquire three King Kullen supermarket locations on Staten Island, New York. When the sale is completed Stop &amp; Shop, who currently operates two stores on Staten Island, will open the 1441 Richmond Avenue and 4343 Amboy Road. The 3251 Richmond Avenue location will be closed with details about the store conversion process to be announced upon completion of the sale. Stop &amp; Shop and King Kullen plan to work together to guarantee a smooth transition for its employees and customers.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Between the three King Kullen stores, the company employs 300 associates. Stop &amp; Shop has plans to interview each of these King Kullen team members and offer as many employment opportunities as Stop and Shop can.
