United Fresh 2012 To Welcome Two Exceptional Individuals

<p><strong>Washington, DC</strong> - The United Fresh Produce Association is welcoming former First Lady Laura Bush, and FMI Chairman Fred Morganthall, President of North Carolina-based Harris Teeter, Inc. as headline speakers this coming May for United Fresh 2012, according to a press release. These keynote speakers are only two of the many prestigious individuals to grace United Fresh 2012 in Dallas, May 1st through the 3rd.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> At the Wednesday Breakfast General Session on May 2nd, with both national and global activities under her belt, Mrs. Bush will share her personal perspectives and thoughts from her experiences on providing leadership, as well as staying focused and positive during difficult times. The former First Lady currently serves as the Honorary Ambassador for the United Nations Literacy Decade as well as Honorary Chair of the National Park Foundation. Mrs. Bush is an avid supporter of breast cancer and heart disease awareness. Attendees will gain valuable insights on how the relationship between the produce and retail industries can better improve to serve the consumer.
