PMA’s Foodservice Conference & Exposition went off this year without a hitch but with quite a few notable names that became Best of Show Winners. PMA Foodservice has announced the names of the lucky elite.
Overall Best of Show went to Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers with Gills Onions swooping up the 2nd Place, Best of Show award. Church Brothers received Best New Product Launch and Duda Farm Fresh Foods were honored with the People’s Choice Award. California Avocado Commission came away with the Sensory Experience Contest award. CAC's recipe for Spicy Shrimp Lettuce Wrap with California Avocado was selected as the winner by a panel of industry experts.
According to a PMA Foodservice press release, "The show floor and education sessions were packed, and we are excited to start planning for next year! We would like to congratulate the winners of this year’s Best of Show contest sponsored by Produce Business. Booths were judged by a group of industry experts and peers. Congratulations!"
