LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Preeminent logistics solutions provider Allen Lund Company has announced two promotions to two important managerial positions at the company’s Rochester and Charlotte offices. The company has promoted Todd Piccola and Greg Babiarz to Manager and Assistant Manager positions at those two offices respectively.
Piccola was promoted to Manager of Allen Lund's Rochester office following his accomplishments as a Transportation Broker, the company noted in a press release.
“I am extremely excited for the opportunity the Lund's have provided me as I continue my career with the Allen Lund Company back in Rochester, where it all started,” said Piccola. “I am really looking forward to bringing my experience, newfound relationships, and hard work from the past six years to an already established office and can't wait to help lead them to the next level.”
Piccola began his career at ALC Rochester in June 2010. He has spent time at the company’s the Los Angeles and Boston offices—where he gained valuable experience in the brokerage business and in both dry and refrigerated goods. Throughout his career, the company noted, Todd has been a quiet leader, dependable co-worker, and valuable ALC team member in each office.
“I am very excited about Todd becoming our new manager in Rochester,” said David Lund, VP Sales & Operations. “Having a current employee fulfill the role along with Todd being able to move back to family and friends makes it a win for everyone. Todd has had experienced mentors to learn from in Tracy Lewin, ALC Los Angeles Manager, and Lenny Sciarappa, ALC Boston Manager. Many in the Rochester office worked with Todd when he first started with ALC and are excited about his return. I wish nothing but success for Todd and his wife Lindsey as they continue to grow their family in Rochester.”
Babiarz has begun his new role as Assistant Manager of Allen Lund’s Charlotte office—following a stint as the company’s Operations Manager. He has been with ALC for 12 years and brings more than 14 years of industry experience to his new role.
“I moved to Charlotte for warmer weather and was introduced to Jim McGuire through a mutual colleague,” said Babiarz. “Joining the Charlotte team was the best decision for me. I thank Nate Thomas wholeheartedly for believing in me in taking this next step in my career. I look forward to the opportunity to help him lead the best group in the business to the next level.”
Thomas, Manager of Allen Lund’s Charlotte office, noted: “Since joining the company 12 years ago, Greg has played a vital role in the success of the Charlotte office. As operations manager, his hard work, leadership skills, and drive have been an integral part of our growth. I am excited about Greg's promotion and look forward to working with him for many years to come.”
