Associated Wholesale Grocers has promoted Jeff Pedersen to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Member Services, according to a release .
Jeff will have responsibility for strategic and managerial oversight of corporate sales and development, education and training, and communications.
Since 1997, Jeff has worked at AWG in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President and Division Manager in Oklahoma City. He began his career in 1976 with Hinky Dinky, Bag-n-Save and Hy-Vee, Inc.
Pedersen will succeed Steve Dillard who retired in January.
