Blizzard conditions are expected in the Midwest, while the Southeast may be hit with severe thunderstorms.
A powerful winter storm is expected to bring 2-5 inches of snow and blizzard conditions with winds up to 50 mph to parts of the Upper Midwest on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Severe thunderstorms are possible across parts of Kentucky and Tennessee into the Southeast. The storms will be complete with damaging wind and hail. There is the likelihood of tornados in the area as well.
Parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee are expected to be hit with wind and hail.
