California Giant Berry Farms Launches New Website Tool
- by Kayla Webb
WATSONVILLE, CA - Does anyone else grocery store hop until every item on your list is checked off? Because, you know, not all grocery stores carry all the goodies you need each and every week? California Giant Berry Farms knows the pain of this game too well and, as a result, is introducing a new software tool that’s taking the guessing game out of consumers’ shopping experience. With its new product locator tool, available on its website, California Giant is helping shoppers near and far find California Giant-brand berries “at a store near them.”
“We are measuring locator traffic on the website along with most popular locations searched for, most popular products, and most popular retailers that are included in shopper searches,” said Cindy Jewell, VP of Marketing. “We are excited about being part of this new feature being offered to our loyal shoppers, and to enticing new brand followers.”
All it takes for shoppers to use the tool is a zip code entered on the company website, which will then narrow the search for California Giant berries closest to their address. Shoppers can also select which berries and pack sizes they’re intending to purchase, with the locator tool identifying nearby retailers carrying the desired berry type. The software also accesses individual branded UPC codes, which, when searched, will help educate loyal and new consumers on California Giant’s full line of products.
According to a press release, the new tool is fueled by Nielsen scan data, which California Giant will then use to track how this new program is used, obtain consumer demographic information, and ultimately share this intelligence with key trading partners.
The new Where to Buy feature is available across California Giant’s website now. To drive traffic to the new tool and to stores carrying California Giant berries, the company is loading content and advertising programs onto its social media channels.
