FRESNO, CA - If my premonitions are correct, the produce industry should be gearing up for a host of well-thought-out marketing campaigns, as California Table Grape Commission is advancing its mission with new leadership appointments. Seeking to bolster its global marketing focus, the organization has announced the promotion of Alyson Dias, who will now take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

In her new role, Dias will oversee a variety of responsibilities, including stewardship of the Grapes from California brand, directing consumer and trade research, and strategic campaign development. According to a press release, she will be responsible for leading the development of an integrated, strategic, global marketing campaign targeting consumers and the trade in the United States and export markets to motivate California table grape purchases.

Kathleen Nave, President, California Table Grape Commission“Alyson is now responsible for overseeing the global marketing program which includes domestic and export markets and the leading of a larger marketing team,” said Kathleen Nave, President. “The success of such a vital and extensive marketing campaign calls for a dedicated individual to lead the effort; Alyson’s comprehensive background and her keen and thoughtful attitude make her ideal for the role of CMO.”

Also taking on a new role is Rachel Coelho, who is filling the position of Assistant Director of Marketing, Social Media, and Influencers. In this position, she will develop and share content and messaging across the commission’s social media platform while managing social media influencer and retailer-tagged radio programs.

Nick Nakashian is also filling a critical position within the commission’s domestic and export marketing team.

As the new Assistant Director of Marketing, Content Development, and Analysis, Nakashian will analyze consumer response to commission messaging and utilize the findings to shape future content development.

“Being able to bring all of the marketing elements under one umbrella is an important step forward to ensure the impactful delivery of key commission messaging around the globe,” Nave added.

Congratulations to each of these industry aces on their newest appointments! We can’t wait to see what growth is sparked for the California table grape industry.
