C.H. Robinson Foundation Celebrates Over 200 Grants in Minnesota

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - Continuing its commitment to support local nonprofit organizations, the C.H. Robinson Foundation has recognized its most recent grant recipients.

The C.H. Robinson Foundation contributes grants that support nonprofit organizations located in the home of its headquarters, Minnesota. Grant recipients are expected to make an impact in local communities in a variety of ways, including: giving children with physical, developmental, or learning disabilities access to a multi-sensory playground that meets their unique needs; providing food and shelter to individuals and families; and giving students mentoring, tools, and technology necessary to achieve academic success.

“Over 1,700 of C.H. Robinson’s employees call Minnesota home, and we’re dedicated to supporting the organizations and causes they care deeply about,” Freeman continued.

Since its 2005 inception, the C.H. Robinson Foundation has provided over 200 grants to more than 100 nonprofit organizations. The Foundation seeks to provide funding to organizations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area that have C.H. Robinson employee involvement. The Foundation prioritizes organizations that focus on expanding educational success for at-risk youth, preventing hunger and providing food assistance, expanding and improving access to affordable housing, supporting immediate living needs for people in crisis, and focusing on areas of health.

C.H. Robinson also sponsors an Employee Scholarship program for its employees and their children, and a Truckload Contract Carrier Scholarship program created to support the educational success of C.H. Robinson truckload contracted carriers and their families.
