CASHMERE, WA - Since the Washington Manufacturing Awards are considered the Oscars of state manufacturers, it stands to reason that Crunch Pak® just took home an Academy Award. The sliced apple specialist received the Washington State Food Processor of the Year Award. Drew Dalgetty, General Manager of Production, accepted the award on behalf of Crunch Pak, and added his thanks to the company’s employees for their contributions to Crunch Pak’s success.
“Receiving the Washington Food Processor of the Year award is a testament to our focus on continual improvement as a company,” said Mauro Felizia, Board Chairman and CEO, in a press release. “Our team works together, from sourcing to slicing, to create the best sliced apple products and snacks in the country and this is nice recognition of our work.”
Washington's Manufacturing Awards program recognizes companies making important progress in productivity, growth, and innovation. Companies were honored in seven categories: Manufacturing Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Food & Beverage Processor of the Year, Emerging Manufacturer of the Year, Building Trades Manufacturer of the Year, and Manufacturing Nonprofit of the Year. The winners were announced at an awards dinner on May 3 in Seattle.
