Driscoll’s Summer of Sweetness Brings Fresh Brand Marketing Launches; Ashley Capurro and Evelyn Martinez Comment
WATSONVILLE, CA - Sitting front-row on a train hurtling toward innovation, Driscoll’s stays on the cutting-edge of flavor and marketing. In its latest move, the berry supplier has launched new digital projects, including Berry Patch Sensory Wheels™ and a collection of “Specialty Strawberry Mini Sets” to support its seasonal premium offerings and continue delivering Only the Finest Berries™.
“As the leading berry brand, Driscoll’s is always looking for the next opportunity to innovate, and we knew we wanted to reach consumers digitally in launching this summer’s premium, high-flavor berries,” said Ashley Capurro, Digital Marketing Manager. “The consumer response to our summer content has been incredible, and we’re pleased to share both educational and compelling content through our digital platforms.”
Unique to Driscoll’s, its Berry Patch Sensory Wheels were designed to offer a full sensory spectrum of tasting for any of its berries, a release explained. The Driscoll’s Strawberry Sensory Wheel™ was launched in May alongside its new Tropical Bliss™ berries, enhancing the company’s ability to communicate flavor notes to its consumers and highlight its ongoing pursuit of flavor.
The berry grower’s latest digital content will go live early this month on the brand’s social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Sharing its take on the miniature art trend seen across social media, Driscoll’s has created three “Mini Moments of Sweetness,” transporting its premium berries on miniature getaways.
This new content was created to drive awareness for Driscoll’s premium collection while showcasing the differences between its Tropical Bliss™, Sweetest Batch™, and Rosé Berries™.
“We knew we wanted to tap into both the latest trends and our expertise in berries to successfully launch our premium berries through our owned channels and educate consumers about the berries’ flavor profiles in a fun and engaging way,” said Evelyn Martinez, Digital Marketing Specialist. “We’re excited to see how consumers interact with the Specialty Strawberry Mini Sets content on our channels, as the new digital assets are all meant to be shared with friends and family.”
In addition to these notable launches, Driscoll’s has also announced the debut of its official brand TikTok channel, which will feature educational, inspirational, and entertaining content.
