<p style="text-indent:0px; line-height:12px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;line-height:130%"> Georgia & South Carolina</span><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">By Eric Anderson<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">3.21.13</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/southern-freeze-march-21-2013-banner.jpg" alt="Cropped Images 03202013" />As if to contest the arrival of spring, Mother Nature is expected to bring freezing temperatures to areas of north and central Georgia, and South Carolina Wednesday night and Thursday morning.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">A freeze warning will take effect in Coweta County to last from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Neighboring counties also in the Warning area are Carroll, Douglas, Fulton, Clayton, Fayette, Spalding, Pike, Meriwether, Troup and Heard.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 20s and lower 30s for central Georgia regions, with the potential to impact early budding and flowering vegetation.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The National Weather Service has also issued a freeze warning from midnight to 9 a.m. Thursday for nearly all of Upstate South Carolina and the lower elevations of McDowell, Polk and Rutherford counties in North Carolina.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Temperatures are expected to sink to the high 20s in the upstate region and the low 20s in higher elevations.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Stay tuned to AndNowUKnow for updates on the freeze. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.times-herald.com/Local/First-day-of-spring-brings-Freeze-Warning-tonight" target="_new">Southern Freeze Update</a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
