Fresh Produce Companies Aim to Make A Splash with New Skinny Dips Promotion

DALLAS, TX – Consumers are getting treated to the “cheeky” side of some produce companies this summer, as the brands join together for the Skinny Dips promotion. Part of an ongoing strategy, the marketing endeavor will engage foodie audiences while also providing produce companies with important data.

Participating brands include California Giant Berry FarmsCrunch PakMission ProduceOcean Mist Farms, and SUNSET®. The Skinny Dips promotion revolves around a downloadable recipe e-book, full of healthy dips. The book will also allow consumers to enter for a chance to win a $4,000 summer vacation prize pack.

As part of the ongoing collaborative marketing strategy, each brand will use data collected from the promotion to continue to nurture fresh produce shoppers by offering them content relevant to each person based on their dietary preference, retail shopping habits, and demographics. 

For the collaborative sweepstakes, 10 influential food bloggers have created unique "skinny dip" recipes.

Throughout the year, each participating company will continue to cultivate relevant content and communications based on the consumer feedback provided by each opt-in form from the sweepstakes.

Ten influential food bloggers will also support the sweepstakes by creating unique recipe content to coincide with the theme of “skinny dipping,” encouraging entries and e-book downloads from a highly-qualified audience of foodies.

The promotion will be housed on each brand partners’ website or corresponding social media platforms through July 7, 2017. By visiting any of these participating locations, consumers can enter the sweepstakes and download the free Skinny Dips recipe e-book. 

Consumers can peep their favorite fresh fruits and veggies in the e-book with recipes like the following:

  • Healthy Layered Apple Crumble Dip
