GLENNVILLE, GA - A new team member has been welcomed into the fold of G&R Farms’ operations, and ANUK could not be more thrilled. The grower named Jon Ellis as its new Operations Manager in a recent announcement.
“I would have to say that I was drawn to G&R Farms because of the atmosphere and the team player environment, along with the energy they are placing on company growth,” stated Ellis when asked about why he was looking forward to joining the company.
Ellis is a long-time resident of Glenville, Georgia, and brings an array of skills to the G&R Farms team, including experience in mechanical, logistics, quality control, and manufacturing. Most recently he worked in the aerospace industry, a press release explained. He also served in the United States Army for over two decades and recently retired from active duty.
Walt Dasher, Vice President, discussed how this exciting new hire will help drive the company’s future growth.
“As our business grows, we are always looking for good people to join our family business,” Dasher said. “Jon brings a wealth of experience and talent, as well as integrity and work ethic that aligns with our company values, and we are very pleased to have Jon join the G&R Farms team and look forward to his contributions.”
As a fourth-generation family farm, G&R continues to grow and expand with both locally grown Vidalia® onions and onions from Peru, making it a year-round supplier.
This new hire is poised to help bring the company into a new era of growth, and ANUK can’t wait to see it unfold.
