Limoneira Acquires Oxnard-Based Lemon Company

SANTA PAULA, CA - Limoneira recently announced that it has closed an asset purchase to acquire a packinghouse and related assets of Oxnard Lemon Associates, Ltd. The facility consists of 13 acres located less than a mile from the Port of Hueneme and with packing capacity of 4,000,000 cartons per year.

The Oxnard facility has a packing capacity of 4,000,000 cartons per year

According to a press release, the company’s greater volume, along with its expanding international operations, continues to support its ability to service an international marketplace. Oxnard Lemon’s adjacency to Limoneira’s headquarters also creates additional packing efficiency for the combined enterprises, while nearly doubling its storage capacity.
