The free event which kicks off on Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. includes a charity softball tournament and children’s activities like face painting, a bounce house, games and arts and crafts. In addition, food and drink tents will provide refreshments.

Jaime Weisinger, Director of Government and Community Relations for Lipman, tells AndNowUKnow, "As growers, sustainability, of course, refers to being environmentally conscious -- but for Lipman, it also means being socially responsible: taking care of our employees, their families and the communities where we do business. Our headquarters are located in Immokalee, Fla., and we dedicate a large portion of our charitable efforts to support the area. This year, with leadership from title sponsor Pacific Tomato Growers, we hope to increase our impact in the community and collect even more donations to benefit local children."

Lipman, based in Immokalee, Florida, provides a dependable year-round fresh produce program through an integrated network of research & development, farming, processing, and repacking. Farms in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, California and Mexico.
