Mas Melons and Grapes Looks to Add Avocados and Broccoli to the Company Portfolio

<p>Mas Melons and Grapes has an exciting year in store with a number of expansions to its product portfolio. The company is currently working to start its own distribution of avocados in Japan, with the possibility of achieving the 2014 goal, only a couple weeks out. The avocado supplies for this new venture will be supplied by two growers from the state of Michoacán, Mexico.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Miguel Suarez tells AndNowUKnow, “This is an exciting time for Mas Melons and Grapes. We have been working on expanding our program this past year to include new categories and are looking forward to our evolution during 2014.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/masmelons020714body.jpg" alt="Images 020514" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The company is also working to add broccoli to its portfolio with a grower partner in the state of Guanajuato whose broccoli Mas Melons markets in Japan. The program is currently on a semi-trail basis with about a load per week.
