Mastronardi Produce is now offering a variety of fair trade certified products, including SUNSET® Campari® brand cocktail tomatoes, One Sweet™ peppers, Kumato™ tomatoes, and sweet bell peppers. These products are now available year-round to consumers across North America, according to a press release.
“We’re very proud to have these products available for consumers who are growing increasingly conscious of social responsibility,” said Paul Mastronardi, CEO. “As a company that is non-GMO certified and has certified organic facilities, gaining fair trade certification is another important step to make our mission come full circle.”
Mastronardi Produce/SUNSET® is the first fresh produce company to become non-GMO certified and the first company in North America to receive dual US and Canadian organic certification for its two largest facilities.
