He and his team from his new restaurant Maude visited to prepare a menu that will feature artichokes in a nine-course fixed menu during March.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> As March rolls in, Ocean Mist is encouraging consumers to look for its retail display and social media contests featuring the hashtag #heirloomartichoke to promote its crop this season. In addition, the company will send out an “Arti Alert” each week to its Artichoke Club members to help them find where Heirloom artichokes will be on sale.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Last but not least, the Annual Castroville Artichoke Festival will be held at the Monterey County Fairgrounds on May 31 and June 1 – the highlight of peak season.
