WASHINGTON, DC - Behind every powerful organization is a dynamic team of experienced leaders who combine their experiences to make the whole. The Organic Trade Association will continue its work to lead the organic sector to success, now with an expanded team of experts, as it has recently revealed that communications specialist Reana Kovalcik will be joining its ring as Director of Public Affairs on October 12.
Kovalcik recently served as Communications Advisor for American Forests, and also previously held the position of Associate Director of the Communications department for the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition, as explained in a press release.
As she takes on the role of the association’s Director of Public Affairs, Kovalcik will work to develop and manage various communications, media, and public affairs activities that have an impact on organic stakeholders. She will also be tasked with acting as the association’s lead media contact.
Kovalcik will be stepping in for Maggie McNeil, who has served as Director of Media Relations for the association since 2014, and recently retired at the end of September.
A huge congrats goes out to Reana Kovalcik and this opportunity to forge new paths for the organic industry!
