YERINGTON, NV - It's easy to think of an onion as just an onion, but consumers see it differently. They notice quality, evaluate flavor, and vote with their wallets. Known for its commitment to excellence, Peri & Sons Farms® continues to lead with purpose. Their premium and organic onions deliver more than good looks: they're grown, harvested, and handled with flavor as the priority, built for today's shoppers who expect produce that tastes as good as it looks.
Here’s What’s in Store.
Flavor isn't the result of luck; it's a commitment carried out at every level of Peri & Sons Farms. From the field to the packing shed, it's embedded in every aspect of the farm’s growth, handling, and shipping of great onions.
Quality farming practices have been part of the farms’ story for generations, with a focus on doing things right, not just fast. That foundation laid the groundwork for onions that deliver genuine flavor, freshness, and consistency.
Today, Peri & Sons continues to lead with purpose, starting with better ingredients. They start by planting top-quality seed varieties in healthy, nutrient-rich soil prepared with care. The onions receive clean water applied precisely, plenty of fresh air, and a balanced program of specialized fertilizers. From there, they give each crop the time it needs to mature and fully develop its natural flavor profile.
Once harvested, careful handling protects what was built in the field. With 46 years of experience, Peri & Sons knows that curing, storing, and climatizing them correctly is a science. Each onion is hand-harvested into ventilated bins to minimize bruising, cured in climate-controlled environments, and shipped directly from the farms to monitor every step that protects flavor and freshness.
Flavor doesn't happen by chance. It's the result of intentional choices made consistently. And when retailers partner with Peri & Sons Farms, they're not just buying onions. They're buying a commitment to quality that keeps shoppers coming back.
