POM Wonderful® is launching its re-imagination of tropical blends to the produce isle with its POM Hula, POM Mango and POM Coconut. The three new products will be available in June and combine the benefits of POM Wonderful’s 100% premium pomegranate juice with three light, refreshing and delicious 100% fruit juice blends, according to a press release.
“POM Wonderful Tropical Blends’ allows us to grow the category by giving families another way to enjoy the benefits of pomegranate juice in a refreshingly light and delicious tropical juice,” said Marc Seguin, Vice President of Marketing, “Pairing with on-trend and fast-growing fruit juices allows us to not only capitalize on the power of the POM brand, but also to attract new consumers to the premium juice category, particularly during the summer months.”
POM Hula channels a beach getaway with POM, pineapple and organic apple juice while POM Mango’s combination of POM, mango and pear juice evokes a tropical paradise. POM Coconut’s blend of POM, coconut water and pineapple juice is reminiscent of a sweet island escape, according to the company.
The Tropical Blends launch is being supported with new displays, point-of sale, retailer promotions, free standing inserts, billboards and other out-of-home advertisement, consumer and retail events and public relations. To introduce Tropical Blends, POM Wonderful’s curved bottle is dressed to impress in new, eye-catching tropical graphics in a convenient 12 oz size. POM Hula sports a green grass hula skirt, POM Coconut pairs POM’s signature red wrap with white coconut and green leaves while POM Mango presents a splash of yellow with green leaves.
POM Tropical Blends will be available at $2.99 SRP for 12 oz. in the refrigerated aisle of the produce section at grocery, mass and convenience stores.
