Potandon Produce Begins Shipping Potatoes Out of Arizona

<p>Potandon Produce LLC is announcing that its <b>fresh potato season has begun in Arizona</b>.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img style="float:left; padding-right:5px" class="small-cropped-image" src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/potatoes4kinds.jpg" alt="050514 cropped" />Potandon will be shipping <b>red, yellow and specialty mini potatoes</b> in the Green Giant and private label packs from Pinto Creek. These will be made available in all standard retail package sizes plus specialty and standard foodservice cartons, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"The growing season in Arizona was nearly perfect this year making the quality and yields coming out of the field outstanding and we expect that to continue throughout the season," said Chad Reynolds, Variety Operations Manager at Potandon.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><b>Red and yellow potatoes</b> will ship out of Arizona until around July 4, while <b>mini red, mini yellow and purple potatoes</b> will ship through August.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Pinto Creek is a <b>PRIMUS certified facility</b> and will have <b>full-time Quality Assurance personnel</b> stationed at the facility for the entire season.
