Potandon Produce’s Klondike Brands potatoes will be turning produce departments pink again this fall as the company rolls out pink packaging in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Klondike Rose® and Klondike Goldust® fresh potatoes will prominently display the new pink packaging as the company celebrates its third year with the NBCF.

To help drive support for the foundation, Potandon Produce has launched a special marketing campaign designed to increase breast cancer awareness. Through October 31st, the campaign emphasizes the importance of mammograms and the benefits of a healthy diet. Potandon works with its retailers to offer special incentives both to the trade and the consumer. Along with campaign-centered ads, the trade will receive an e-marketing piece about what retailers can expect from the program and how they can join Potandon on this campaign.

Klondike Brands is broadcasting its support for this worthy program through Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail. For the second year, the company also features a “Cancer Survivor and Memorial Walls” on Pinterest. Consumers can upload a picture of a loved one with any type of cancer to further show their solidarity in supporting research and the eventual cure for cancer. Thanks to its new pink packaging, Potandon Produce will catch the consumer’s eye and continue driving retail sales.
