Ready Pac Foods' Swedesboro, New Jersey fresh foods processing facility has received Safe Quality Food, Level 3 certification. This is the highest certification possible and means that all of Ready Pac’s processing facilities have satisfied the certification’s SQF requirements, according to a press release.
“Ready Pac implemented the stringent SQF certification program system-wide to develop standardized and harmonized quality systems that align with our customers’ food safety and quality needs,” said Tristan Simpson, director of marketing and corporate communications. “It is also an important tool for reducing redundancies and improving efficiencies.”
SQF is the only food safety program outside of Europe that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative. SQF programs enhance process management and includes comprehensive and consistent training.
