<p>Amerifresh's famous <b>Snoboy brand is launching back into the retail marketplace.</b> After an absence of several years the company reintroduced the fresh produce brand at the recent National Grocers Association annual show.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Bill Munger, President of Amerifresh, says the well-known brand has been <b>previously available only to foodservice</b> customers like restaurants, schools, hospitals, casinos and cruise ships, according to a press release.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“We’ve heard from a number of past customers who grew up with the memories of buying Snoboy and now we are reintroducing the brand into independent grocers,” Munger noted. “These grocers can now offer a well-recognized brand with a reputation for consistently high-quality produce.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The items being introduced at retail include a <b>three-count pack of romaine hearts; a two-pound pack of hothouse bell peppers; sleeve celery; bagged romaine, red and green leaf lettuce; iceberg lettuce; bagged potatoes; bagged onions; apples; oranges; lemons and limes.</b></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“We have designed new labels and new packaging specifically for retail display and consumer convenience,” said Munger.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The Snoboy brand has earned a reputation for consistent quality and freshness with grocers, restaurant operators and consumers since being introduced in 1925.
