SALINAS, CA - It’s Friday, which oftentimes is enough reason to raise a toast, but this particular Friday is offering even more reason to lift a glass and give cheers! At the annual Valley of the World Awards, Church Brothers Farms’ Co-Chairman Steve Church received the 2018 Valley of the World Award.
Church accepted the award from presenters Susan Gill and Lorri Nucci-Koster, the 2018 event Co-Chairs. The Valley of the World Award honors those who have made remarkable advancements in the ag industry, including innovation, creative leadership, generosity, and vision.
The awards were held on November 15, 2018, at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, California. This award ceremony recognizes key figures hailing from the Salinas Valley and has become a community tradition that has acknowledged many agricultural industry individuals who have enriched Salinas.
