PASADENA, CA - As a produce industry newbie, I am fascinated by all the hullabaloo that surrounds the major events of the year. This year’s Southern Exposure conference sounds like it’s shaping up to be a grand ‘ol time for both attendees and exhibitors. Every produce company will be putting their best foot forward, showcasing their latest and greatest—and Sun Pacific is no exception. VP of Business Development, Howard Nager, spoke about the products the company will be highlighting at SEPC.

Howard Nager, VP of Business Development, Sun Pacific“The SEPC provides a terrific opportunity to reach a very targeted customer who is interested in quality, consistency of supply, and partnerships designed to drive category sales,” said Howard.

On display will be Sun Pacific’s full line of branded items including, Cuties® (conventional and organic), Mighties™ (conventional and organic), Vintage Sweets Heirloom Navels, and Air Chief Grapes (conventional and organic).

“Sun Pacific is recognized as a high-quality, trusted supplier of citrus, kiwi, and grapes,” Howard said. “We offer both conventional and organic availability and will continue to expand our efforts in the organic sector. Supply, consistency, quality, branded offerings, consumer advertising and promotion, as well as enhanced packaging capabilities are just some of the highlights of our programs."

The company is currently touting its Navels, which will be available this season through the end of June and approaching July 4th. In addition, its Cuties are beloved by kids (and adults!) of all ages, and will be available through May.

As a leading supplier of California kiwi, the company says it represents over 50% of all the kiwi grown in the state. Sun Pacific has successfully introduced Organic Mighties into the branded kiwi category, which will be available into the beginning of July.

To round out Sun Pacific's SEPC produce display is the company’s Air Chief grapes, which are grown on 100 percent company-owned farms. Grape fans are in luck because Sun Pacific is introducing three new varieties to its impressive lineup of conventional and organic produce. As organics rise in popularity, the company responds in kind, increasing organic production to 40 percent for the 2019 season—beginning around July 4th and stretching past Thanksgiving into December.

To check out Sun Pacific’s luscious offerings, make sure to stop by booth 1205 at the conference.
