VANCOUVER, B.C. - Village Farms is joining upwards of 30 global marketplaces to be in front of crowds from around the world until November 14th. The company announced that it is participating in the 2016 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which kicked off on September 14th at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The popular festival draws guests from all over the globe, and the company announced in a press release that the new Greenhouse Guru marketplace will feature a food and beverage kiosk serving up a number of tasty dish offerings made with Village Farms' exclusive tomato varieties.
Additionally, Greenhouse Guru will feature an exhibit on greenhouse-growing to showcase the environmental benefits the farming method presents.
A 62-day-long celebration of global cuisines, live concerts, and entertainment from around the world, the additions to this year’s itinerary include:
- A special VIP experience
- A 60-minute tasting and 3-course lunch
- Culinary adventures with a master chef
- Brunch “with a twist” at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- A Tiki-themed beverage boot camp
The attention to food, drink, and fresh, continues on through November 14th at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
