SALINAS, CA – Value-added veggies and packaged salads are an increasingly-important component of our produce aisles and kitchens, adding sales dollars and creating cross-merchandising opportunities for a variety of products in-store and saving prep time in the restaurant space. Ippolito International is gearing up to meet the market head on, with value-added foodservice and retail offerings aimed at cutting costs and driving sales.

Henry Dill, VP of Sales, Ippolito InternationalI recently had the opportunity to speak with Henry Dill, Ippolito International’s VP of Sales, to learn more about the company’s value-added in-store and foodservice offerings.

“We’ve enacted a large value-added component, and we do cut Brussels sprouts, shredded Brussels sprouts...cello spinach…cauliflower florets, broccoli florets, cauliflower rice, and there’s a few other items we could probably add to the mix,” Henry told me, hinting that new value-added offerings may be on the horizon.
