Nature Fresh Farms

Nature Fresh Farms

Nature Fresh Farms began as a “build & sell” project in 1999. As a greenhouse designer, manufacturer, and builder, Pete Quiring, the president and CEO of Nature Fresh Farms, recognized that the greenhouse industry was in transition, and that technology and innovation would drive continued growth.
Quiring set out to prove that an upfront investment in state-of- the-art greenhouses would have a transformational impact on quality. From that moment forward, he has been perfecting automation for cost control, technology for crop control, and varietal advancements for consumer appreciation.
Nature Fresh Farms has now grown to become one of the largest family-owned and operated greenhouse produce growers in Canada, as well as one of the largest greenhouse pepper growers in North America. With 175 acres under glass, Nature Fresh Farms is a tremendously efficient and highly automated greenhouse vegetable growing operation. Originally modeled after the very best European technologies, it continues to use emerging greenhouse science to achieve new levels of excellence and expand its reach within the industry.
With 130 acres in Leamington, ON and 45 acres in Delta, OH, Nature Fresh Farms is able to grow high quality, nutritious produce year-round. Consumers are not only able to purchase locally-grown Nature Fresh products 365 days a year, they can also take comfort in knowing exactly where and how their food is being grown. We believe that this knowledge is essential for consumers to make educated decisions about fresh food consumption.
The Nature Fresh Farms brand has many noteworthy and exciting product lines. Beefsteak and TOV tomatoes grown in Delta, OH are part of the OhioRed® product line, and both Leamington, ON and Delta, OH greenhouses are growing specialty tomatoes that are part of the TOMZ® Snacking Tomatoes brand. The OntarioRed tomato brand was also introduced in 2017.
